We are over the moon to invite you to come and be a part of our wedding ceremony on June 14th 2025 between 10:30-11am at The Brick House in Bartley Ranch Park in Reno, NV.
Chris and I met in the fall of 2020 through a dating app. Super romantic, right? We think so too...
It all started when one night, after a particularly disastrous date, I came home and decided that apps were not the place to meet Mr. Right. Multiple glasses of wine later it was clear to me that meeting someone who had access to the popular Nintendo video game Mario Kart was a more appropriate use of a dating app. So, I wasted no time re-wording my dating profile to exclusively ask who was willing to let me come over and play a game of Mario Kart instead of a date. Within 24 hours of posting this genius new approach I received a message from Chris that simply said "I have Mario Kart."
We quickly decided on a day and time and on 10/10/20 I showed up on Chris' doorstep ready to put the pedal to the metal. He then promptly beat me in every race and made me watch the highlight reels each time so that I could relive the thrashing all over again.
Now here we are, about to get married, and he has yet to let me win a damn Mario Kart race!
I've decided to marry him anyway.
In the fall of 2020 I asked my god if I should date again after walking to the top of a mountain with my father. My god's reply was something along the lines of "Yeah, go for it!"
So once I made it back home, realizing that my only friends in Pittsburgh were married to each other, I decided jumping on the dating apps might help me find a cool person to hang with.

After scrolling for a bit I ran across this lady who really wanted to play Mario Kart. I immediately jumped onto Amazon and bought the game with next day shipping. A few minutes later Amazon confirmed the purchase and I messaged her saying "I have Mario Kart."

A few days pass and this smoke show of a woman showed up at my door, we played Mario Kart, had drinks and a great time.
I didn't hold back and haven't regretted it as I've gotten to know my best friend and partner.​
